Updating KYC can be done online or offline, and it just takes a few minutes. Give up one FASTag right away if you use two. Expressways and highways have been constructed all over the nation for those who choose to travel by car, making the trip very simple. Traveling between cities now takes a lot less time. Toll taxes, however, are how the government is able to pay for the construction of these roads. The car now moves as soon as the FASTag scan is completed, as opposed to the past practice of deducting the toll tax at the booth. All vehicles operating on the road must have fastag installed. In the meantime, the government has made significant changes to FASTag. As of the evening of January 31, your FASTag will no longer function if you haven't updated your KYC.
FASTag Will be Deactivated :
The government has mandated that FASTag stickers have their KYC updated; all FASTags without KYC will be deactivated after January 31, the deadline set by the government. In other words, you will be required to pay double toll tax and FASTag money will not be subtracted. Therefore, as soon as possible, complete your FASTag KYC if you want to avoid paying the fine. KYC updates can be made online or offline.
